To display the posts from your Instagram account in the Juicer feed, you have to
Connect your Instagram account with your Juicer account and
Add an Instagram source
and we will do the rest. You can do this for as many accounts as you like within Juicer. Adding or refreshing those connections is done on your Connected Social Accounts page.
❗️ Before starting, we recommend that you visit instagram.com and log your browser out of all Instagram accounts. This will ensure that you will connect to the correct Instagram account.
⚠️ Note on new vs. existing users
New free users (just signed up): You can preview posts from any public Instagram username without connecting Instagram yet. This is a preview only; it will not auto‑update. To keep this source in sync with Instagram, you need to own that Instagram account and connect it to Juicer.
Existing users (free or paid): To display content from an Instagram account you own, you need to connect that Instagram account to Juicer (read-only authorization—Juicer will not be able to post anything to your Instagram or delete any content there).
Connecting Your Instagram Account with Juicer
Visit Connected Social Accounts, and next to the Instagram username header, click the red
+button. As a part of the authentication process, you will be redirected to Instagram to log in to your Instagram account if you already weren’t logged in.
Allow access to the Juicer app. This default flow for owned accounts authorizes read-only access, enabling Juicer to import your Instagram posts to your feed.
Click “Allow” and the connection will be established. You can now add this Instagram account to your Juicer dashboard’s “Social Media Sources” area. Your successful connections should be listed in the area shown below:
⚠️ If one or more of your connections appear in red, your connection is expired. Please click the refresh button 🔄 and follow the instructions. Details are outlined in our article on adding and refreshing Instagram connections.
Adding an Instagram Source
A “source” is any social media account or hashtag whose posts you display. Your sources are shown within the “feed,” which is the wall of posts you embed on your website. Now that you have connected your Instagram account with Juicer, you can add its content to your Juicer feed via the Instagram source.
Open your Juicer dashboard and access the feed to which you want to add the source
Click “+ Add New Source”
Select Instagram
Select Posts, Reels, or Stories and the Instagram username you would like to add.
For brand-new free users (no Instagram connection yet)
Enter any public Instagram username to preview its recent posts. You don’t need to connect Instagram yet—this is a quick, read-only preview to help you evaluate the feed.
For existing users (free or paid) who want to display content from an account they own
Select your connected Instagram username and add it as a source. This requires that you’ve connected Juicer to that Instagram account, authorizing read-only access so Juicer can import your posts.
Click “Add source,” and that’s it!
Now your Instagram posts or the other IG content will appear in your Juicer feed.
🌱 Tip: If you’re just exploring Juicer on the free plan, use the preview by entering any public Instagram username. When you’re ready to display posts from an account you own, connect that Instagram account to Juicer and add it as a source.
As you can see in the screenshot above, this is also where you add Instagram Hashtags, Reels, and Stories—follow the same steps outlined above and simply choose the media type you want.
For convenience, here are dedicated guides for some of them:
👉 If you want to add an Instagram Hashtag source, please refer to the How to add an Instagram hashtag source to Juicer help doc.

Troubleshooting
If you see the button with the text ”
Connect Instagram and Add Source” that means that you haven’t connected your Instagram account correctly or at all. If this occurs, please click on Connect Instagram and Add Source and follow the instructions.
If you see the message:
”This Instagram source isn't connected yet. The last update was X days ago. Connect the Instagram account that matches this source to enable automatic syncing and keep your feed up to date.”it means that you added this source as a preview, and you didn’t connect Juicer to that Instagram account. Please follow the steps outlined in the “Connecting Your Instagram Account with Juicer” above and connect Juicer to that account. This will be possible only if you own that Instagram account. When you click the red “Setup connection” button, you will be taken to Instagram, where you will authorize the read-only connection to your Instagram account.
