If you've noticed that Instagram posts in your Juicer feed disappear after 24 hours, it's likely due to improperly configured embedding permissions. This article will guide you through the process of enabling Instagram embeds to resolve this issue.
The Issue
Instagram posts in your Juicer feed may disappear after 24 hours if embedding permissions aren't properly configured.
Solution: Enable Instagram Embeds
To prevent Instagram images from disappearing, you need to enable embedding for your Instagram account. Follow the steps below based on whether you're using the mobile app or the desktop version of Instagram.
💡The embedding controls are located at the locations below as of mid-2025. Instagram/Meta is known to move and rename these options every once in a while.
If you cannot locate them at the described locations, please use the search field in the Instagram app to locate the “sharing” or “embedding” options.
Using the Instagram Mobile App
Navigate to your Instagram profile
Tap the three lines menu (☰) in the top right corner
Locate option "
Sharing and reuse"
Toggle the switch to enable website embeds
Using Instagram on Desktop
or from your Instagram profile
Important Notes
The availability of the embedding feature varies by account type
Only public accounts can have their posts embedded.
Private, inactive, or age-restricted accounts, as well as accounts that have disabled embeds, do not support this feature.

Some accounts may not have access to this feature, as per this Instagram Help article
⚠️ Pro Tip: Verify your embed settings immediately after connecting your Instagram account to Juicer to prevent future display issues.
