If You See Broken Instagram Images/Posts for Hashtags (Blue Boxes in Your Feed)

Since 2025, Juicer’s improved infrastructure prevents broken images for new Instagram hashtag posts; legacy feeds may need a quick refresh.

Summary

  • New feeds (2025+) should not experience “blue boxes” on Instagram hashtag posts.

  • Legacy feeds (created before 2025) may still show broken images on older hashtag posts.

What to do if you see blue boxes

  • If your feed was created before 2025 and shows broken hashtag posts:

    1. Remove the affected Instagram hashtag source from your feed.

    2. Re‑add the same hashtag source.

    • This refresh applies our updated infrastructure to your feed.

  • Important note: Juicer will not be able to restore working images for those removed posts. Once removed, the missing images cannot be recovered.

❗️Important: Enable Instagram account embedding

Notes

  • For Instagram @Username sources in your Social Media Sources panel, Juicer can update post data normally. Refer to this Help Center article for establishing the correct @username connection.

  • Hashtag posts follow Instagram’s rules and may have different limitations than account sources.
